From the driveway and entrance to the parking lot, you can see several inches of mud that has been left behind after the water has receded. From the back of the post you can see that the parking lot is covered in mud.
An Inspection of the interior of the post was conducted, and it was determined that water did enter the building, as mop bucket, wet/dry vacuum was present, and fans were running to dry out the building.
Upon arrival on the site, we noticed that the bin we use to store flags that are collected from our Flag Disposal Bin Project was missing. It was located on the other side of the playing filed. The box was at least 3/4 full, and it still managed to floated away, and sustained damage. In the photos below, it will give you an idea of how far from the post the bin floated down stream.
Note: The picture of the flooded park was taken on Broadway, Thornwood, by the Town of Mount Pleasant, from their Facebook page.
