National Junior Vice Commandant’s Award

National Junior Vice Commandant’s Award   At the Marine Corps League National Convention, held at the Rancho Mirage Golf Resort and Spa, in Palm Springs, California, the Westchester County Detachment was awarded 1st Place for Increased Membership in the Detachment size of 201 or more members. Our Membership increased by 100.73%.  

Accepting the award on behalf of the Detachment, was Detachment Adjutant Paymaster Steve Topilnycky.

Increased Membership Plaque that exceed their membership strength from 1 July through 30 June. Plaques for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Increased Membership in the following categories are awarded. To qualify, the increased membership must exceed 100-percent by percentage.  

  • Category 1 – Detachment Membership from 15 to 50 members.
  • Category 2 – Detachment Membership from 51 to 100 members.
  • Category 3 – Detachment Membership from 101 to 200 members.
  • Category 4 – Detachment Membership from 201 or more.
  • Category 5 – Department Membership.
  • Category 6 – Division Membership.
