Passing of Detachment Life Member Orlando L. D'Angelo

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Detachment Life Member Orlando L D'Angelo of Rye, New York who passed away after a short illness on December 31, 2014. He was born on July 4, 1925 in the Bronx, NY and was a Rye resident. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He began his life long career as a self employed Building Contractor in partnership with his brother Louis D'Angelo, prior to retiring in 1987. He was President of the Rye Kiwanis Club from 1982-1983. He taught Religious instruction classes at Resurrection Elementary School in the 60's, a volunteer of the William H Ball Memorial Field Day and an active member of the American Legion Rye Post 128 and Life Member of the Marine Corps League. He is survived by his wife, Ellen C D'Angelo of Rye
